We’ll finish with a long, relaxing Savasana, where you are welcome to rest or nap. All skill levels welcome, with plenty of modifications available. If needed, all moves can be done from a chair (chairs provided upon request).

Lunae

Picture
Lunae is temporarily off the schedule.

Lunae: 1 credit

Have you noticed how your energy fluctuates throughout the month? Perhaps recent events have you feeling scattered, stressed out, and detached?

The world is chaotic and stressful. Whether you're not sure how to ground yourself, or simply lack the time to do it on your own, this class provides space to find serenity and healing for your soul. Lunae helps you discover who you truly are.

Lunae is an experience that draws on the cycles of the moon to guide different phases of our lives. As the moon waxes and wanes, so does our energy and focus. From planning and creating, to celebrating our achievements with gratitude, to forgiving and releasing what doesn't work for us, to resting and rejuvenating our bodies and spirits... each week we will visit a different focus.

Each hour-long class will lead you on a journey through different experiences custom-tailored to nourish your spirit.
- Guided meditations
- Activities focused on the week's theme
- Setting intentions and goals for the weeks ahead
- Somatic movement (moving meditation) to connect your body to your emotions
- Breath work
- Teaching on how to use crystals and essential oils to enhance your experience
- Sound bath with crystal singing bowl
- Reiki energy work

While most of our classes emphasize the physical body, Lunae's focus on internal work makes it accessible even to those who are unable to participate in dance or exercise classes due to health restrictions or pregnancy. Recommended movements do not require significant space, and modifications are always available. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, and layers in case your temperature changes during the course of the class. We also recommend bringing a notebook and pen, yoga mat, lidded water bottle. You are welcome to bring a pillow for the sound bath and reiki portion of class (if you would like).

This class is also available on Zoom! Please select and register for the Zoom version (listed at the same time as our in-person class). Login details will be sent in your confirmation email.

Jenni O'Connor is a certified Reiki practitioner, and certified meditation practitioner. Speaker, embodiment coach, and author of the Rituals for Feminine Power series, she has worked with thousands of women to help them find their inner confidence.
