Aerial Hammocks Policies and Medical Information
**IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THOSE WITH HEALTH ISSUES**
Students who currently have, or have a history of the following health issues must obtain a doctor’s note before inverting on aerial hammocks: Glaucoma, hypertension, uncompensated congestive heart failure, hiatal hernia or spinal instability, prescription anticoagulants, cerebrovascular accidents, high or low blood pressure, stroke or heart conditions of any kind, pregnancy, excess weight, epilepsy, eye problems, inner ear problems.
Aerial fabric rules. Any student refusing to follow these rules will be dismissed from class without refund.
- Armpits and waist to calves must be covered.
- Deodorant must be freshly applied. Please do not wear excessive perfume.
- Students must wash hands before class, and sticky grip aids may not be used.
- Students must arrive early for class in order for the instructor to place them in a hammock of appropriate height.
- Students are responsible for making sure nothing on their body will tear the fabric. This includes metal jewelry, exposed zippers, ragged fingernails/toenails, etc.
