Freestyle Analysis (*NEW*)
In our kick-off experience we will dive into your current freestyle forecast. Where are you excelling, where are you stuck, what are your habits, your go-tos, your movement preferences and patterns, your strengths and opportunities. We will dissect, discuss, and dive right in to tailor kick-off exercises and get you prepared for the weekend ahead! Get ready to start understanding WAY more about freestyle, and the way you move!!!! After this class, you may start to feel true possibility for major change.
Good Vibe Tribe
You will then be initiated into what can only be described as our beautiful Tribe of Freestylers. More than just self-explored freestyle, this class harnesses the true power and versatility of COLLABORATION.
DAY 2: 12:30 – 5pm & 7 – 9pm
Movement Meditation
In this two hour workshop, we will use FYF movement meditation practices to transform the internal experience of freestyle.
All in the Details
Sometimes what makes a beautiful freestyle isn’t the biggest display of strength or flexibility, but the smallest and most distinct moments that are truly unforgettable. In this two hour workshop, we will become obsessed with the details. It is in the details of our movement that our creativity and individuality roams free.
Vulnerability
This is a special FYF Intensive exclusive, information on this class will be given at Orientation.
DAY 3: 12:30 – 5pm & 7 – 9pm
Finding Your Floorwork
Disconnecting from your pole allows for new opportunities for grounded movement, and utilizes the floor to invent stylized movement that not only looks interesting, but feels great. This class will not only leave you with more floorwork techniques and choreography, but also the tools and conditioning to help you explore your own development of floorwork.
Interpreting Music
This workshop grows from the roots of musicality, but goes beyond the layers, tempo, and style. This full spectrum work will allow you to essentially “predict and adapt” to a piece of music, regardless of it you have heard it before or not.
Gratitude
This is a special FYF Intensive exclusive, information on this class will be given at Orientation.
ALSO INCLUDES: Final Night (Intensive Completion) Celebration, Reflection, Snacks & Drinks Provided – LET’S PARTY!
This Intensive is open to all levels, however a beg/int level of pole vocabulary may make the experience more accessible.
Clothing and Misc. Requirements: Bring layers for floor-work, pole shorts for aerial work, your favorite footwear (at least a pair of socks, leg warmers, and/or heels), snacks/water, and a camera to record all of your adventures. We will provide a local list of amenities, including driving directions, hotel and dining options.
